A major feature of the Real
Estate System is the electronic transmission of the
county deed index records to the GSCCCAs Central Collection
System. The daily flow of information from all 159 Georgia
counties occurs using the Statewide Courthouse Network. The
process of electronic data transmission must be standardized
and carefully controlled to ensure the validation of the data
in the system.
The purpose of this paper is to present the system requirements and data standards. The guidelines provide the technical requirements that local (county) indexing systems must adhere to in order to achieve compatibility with the Real Estate System. Every clerk of superior court is required to use a real estate indexing computer system that has demonstrated and maintains compliance with the Georgia Superior Court Clerks Cooperative Authority requirements specified herein. This document is intended to be used by technical, information services personnel.
You can retrieve the System Guidelines on our Real Estate Files and Forms section or contact the Authority at 1-800-304-5175 for a printed copy.
